InfoPrint in collaboration with Press-sense for POD products

InfoPrint, a joint venture between IBM and Ricoh, has teamed up with software company Press-sense to resell its flagship products iWay, Manager and Omnium.

The software will be showcased on InfoPrint's stand at Drupa with the agreement allowing both companies to bring Print-On-Demand (POD) workflows to the market.

The deal will also expand InfoPrint's functionality into streamlining POD workflows, which includes business and operations activities for printers.

Susan Friedman, POD offerings manager for InfoPrint, said: "Creating end-to-end solutions that integrate web-enabled front-ends and management information systems (MIS) with the print production lifecycle answers the pain points of many of our customers."

Software on display at Drupa will include iWay, a web-based, POD workflow that allows users to create, order, print and deliver in one operation.

Press-sense Manager combines MIS, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and asset management functionality to manage the job cycle at an affordable price.

In addition, Press-sense Omnium is a business flow automation tool that provides critical data on business and production processes in real time.

InfoPrint will be demonstrating Press-sense products at its stand in Hall 9, B44.
