Paragon produces 1.2m personalised packs for transport consultation
Paragon Services has completed a print management contract for Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (GMPTE), which involved the personalised production of 1.2m domestic consultation packs.
The print services and document management company fulfilled the job for the Transport Innovation Fund (TIF) consultation, printing and issuing the packs to households and businesses in Greater Manchester.
In addition to 130,000 business newsletter packs that contained a duplex-printed letter and a 16pp booklet, Paragon produced 1.2m domestic consultation packs and 130,000 business consultation packs.
The packs included a carrier sheet, a response form with unique barcode and an OCR number, reply envelope and pocket guide.
The work was completed by nine printers using a combination of litho and digital kit over the course of eight days.
Charlie Lamont, account director at Paragon Services, said: "We all had to work together very closely for days at a time and we were delighted with how people really pulled out all of the stops to get the job done."
He said the success of the project was "testament to the team spirit" of the staff and their "tireless commitment".
Paragon also produced 5,000 information packs, each comprising of three Transport Innovation Fund booklets.
Sheila Stark, department manager for strategic research at GMPTE, said: "The contract team from Paragon Services worked particularly hard to meet and exceed our expectations and even provided advice that resulted in some significant cost savings."

16pp Booklet, underhanded move by the TIF nothing in the booklet about the negatives.
Like the extra cost to the worker they are going to be out of pocket per year £1,200 in extra taxes.

There will be a postal referendum for all Greater Manchester residents closing on the 11th December. If you live in Greater Manchester, remember to post your NO Vote! by 5th December.

is backed by the Stop The Charge coalition, a group of seven MPs representing all parties, three Greater Manchester council leaders and the Greater Manchester Momentum Group \(GMMG), an alliance of 260 international, national and local businesses - from Kellogg's to Rodgers the Florist.
All want the best for Greater Manchester. All believe current Transport Innovation Fund \(TIF) proposals would be bad for our region, bad for our community and bad for our economy.
Current plans simply offer very poor value for money. They are simply inappropriate for the way we live and work today. The congestion charging scheme they would bring - by far the world's largest - would unfairly penalise you, our constituents and employees.
Worse still, if we don't recoup the £1.2 billion debt we will take on under the TIF scheme, the knock effects will be felt across our community for many years to come.
We believe there are many other low-cost, environmentally sound solutions \(see alternatives section) that must be explored properly

Information about the charge and costs
Peak time charges
7AM-9.30AM
Crossing the outer ring inbound £2
Crossing the inner ring inbound £1
4PM - 6.30PM
Crossing the inner ring outbound £1
Crossing the outer ring outbound £1
That's up to £100 every month or up to £1,200 a year if your commute takes you through both rings. For most of us, changing our working hours simply isn't possible, so we will have to find an additional £1,200 just to drive to work.
With the average take home wage in Greater Manchester of around £1,200 a month, that's a month's pay. That just can't be fair or sensible when traffic hasn't increased on local roads in fifteen years and lower cost, environmentally-sound alternatives are still to be explored.
Why you should Vote NO to the Congestion Charge
It could cost you up to £100 every month or £1200 every year - just to use your car.
Too big - Current proposals would create the world's largest congestion charging zone - the entire area within the M60 motorway - that's 80sq miles compared to the original London zone of 8sq miles and zones of 11sq miles in Stockolm and 2sq miles in Rome and Singapore.
