Quorn enhances food packs with foldout promo campaign

Vegetarian food company Quorn has unveiled a new on-pack promotional campaign that uses foldout leaflets containing recipes and money-off coupons.

The re-sealable 12pp over-laminated Fix-a-Forms are applied to selected packs of meat-free sausages, mince, burgers and chicken.

A spokesperson from creative agency Blue Chip Marketing said: "Our brief from Quorn was to focus on getting current customers to buy more.

"On-pack media is the most cost-effective method of talking to current users, and we were keen to use this effective space to offer recipes, product info and coupons.

"We took a strong brand and added a bright on-pack promotion to enhance the pack image and hook customers who browse meal options."

The campaign was backed by two supermarket mailings and a series of press ads. The promotion can be found in Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Asda stores.

It was printed Bury St Edmonds-based label printer, Denny Bros.
