Packaging on YouTube: the 'world's lightest' screwcap wine bottle in production

In this week's Packaging on YouTube, a clip looking at a joint effort between Kingsland Wines and Spirits and Quinn Glass to slash the weight of a standard wine bottle.
The Wrap-backed project resulted in a wine bottle that weighs 300g, almost 30% lighter than the standard 420g. Tesco is currently using the bottle for an own-label wine, and other retailers, including the Co-operative, are expected to follow, according to Kingsland.
