Real Digital in recruitment drive after doubling sales
Real Digital has made 13 new appointments as it celebrates a 105% increase in sales.
The recruitment drive came as the Croydon-based company announced that it had achieved a £1m monthly turnover for the first time since it was incorporated in 2004.
Its like-for-like sales revenue jumped by 105% between September and November, compared with the same period in 2007.
The company, which produces personalised direct mail for Ikea and Direct Wines, is hoping to continue this trend with the appointment of 13 new staff across the business.
Among the new recruits are Robert Burbidge and Brett Smith who have joined as associate directors from SR Communications – the direct mail house acquired by MBA Holdings earlier this year.
Other recruits include data programmers, production managers and print operators.
Andy Ruddle, sales and marketing director, said: "Our success is due to an increasing recognition of the bottom line returns that highly personalised and integrated communications can deliver."
The company was highly commended at the recent PrintWeek Awards in the Direct Mail Printer of the Year category.

Darren thats a good way of advertising your services, lol

Mr Rapp: - You forgot to mention the name of your carrier pigeon amongst the various contact details!
While your comment is innocent I suppose I'd be considered as crazy to assume that its real intention was to advertise your services....?
Dum dum.... Dun dum... dum dum, dum dum....... There's a shark in the water!!! <^><

God, you agencies are so annoying. No one cares
Tanya Miller - 19 November 2008
Thats a bit mean Mr Partridge! To be fair, the article is about recruitment....
Alan Partridge - 19 November 2008
Sorry Tanya, yes that was very mean of me. But, I must point out that yes, the article may be on the subject of 'recruitment', but not 'recruitment agencies'

Alan, don't you ever do any work?
I'll bet print recruitment is not a happy industry right now, still.. they should know how to put a good CV together.

I agree with everybody and nobody in particular on this very subject - whatever it is..........
Mr. Rapp - please stop using !!!! to exhalt your desire to be noticed and concentrate on encouraging the company you work for to seriously reconsider the bland and sterile image it projects through the JPL logo and website........ try extending your budget to £15 and see what happens.
Tanya - we have never met but then again I have never been to Aberdeen so why should I complain?
