Island printer rounds off £120,000 investment with Suprasetter buy

Melody Press has taken delivery of a Heidelberg Suprasetter as part of a £120,000 investment.
The Guernsey-based company, which is replacing its previous polyester-based model, claims to have already seen an improvement in efficiency.
Melody Press said it had considered replacing its polyester system with a similar model for around £25,000 but instead invested in a £100,000 metal system because of its quality on all run lengths.
Managing director Adrian Tostevin said: "We've been very busy, even running through the night.
"Our turnover is very healthy and we're not feeling the effects of the economic climate. We put this down to our 52 years of experience in the local market and a consistent commitment to high quality at a reasonable price."
He added: "We are spending around £120,000 this year on upgrading our studio and CTP – part of a regular investment which we believe will enable us to grow our current sales turnover by 70% within five years."
Melody Press provides commercial work, 90% of which is local, with some work going outside the island.
