Zevrix unveils new automation software
By Tom Hall Monday, 05 January 2009
Zevrix Solutions has released BatchOutput Doc 2 - a new version of its multi-document output automation software for Microsoft Word on Mac OS X.
The release includes tools for PDF output, including options to save pages as separate PDF files, variable file names and favourite output folders.
Users can also adjust image resolution and compress items to control file size.
A spokesperson for Zevrix said: "Users only need to select the files they wish to output and adjust the settings, and BatchOutput will do the rest automatically.
"Because BatchOutput can run in the background, it enables users to output large jobs efficiently without monopolising a workstation."
The software features added security options including password protection.
