Real Digital picks up a well-earned commendation this year, thanks largely to its turn-of-year mailing for Thomson Holidays.

Surrey-based Real Digital demonstrated the positive impact of well-targeted DM with its highly personalised brochure, which featured individually profiled and relevant offers. Instead of mailing a conventional mailer or brochure, Real produced a 10-page, saddle stitched personal brochure, which took full advantage of digital printing to incorporate a staggering number of variables across the campaign. As the judges said: “This is exactly how data should be used.”
