Printweek company of the year - commended: Benson Group

Now known as the largest independent carton manufacturer in the UK, following a spate of consolidation, Benson’s latest acquisition came in December last year when it bought Integrated Packaging. The company, which expects to make a healthy 6.5% profit margin on its £85m turnover this year, credits its success to a culture of investment that has seen it spend in excess of £25m on new plant and equipment.
