Sun Chemical launches security inks
Sun Chemical has launched SunGuard Apollo, which it claimed represents a new generation of infrared security inks to be used to deter counterfeiting. The SunGuard Apollo portfolio uses infrared responsive pigments that can be used either within an ink or as a clear varnish. Advantages include over-varnishing holograms without losing brightness.
