Inkslinger buys Fuji Pro-T plates to cut waste and costs

Inkslinger Printing Company has become the latest business to adopt Fuji's Brillia HD Pro-T processless plates.

The Croydon-based litho printer already uses Fuji's plates and processors for its presses. It said it was attracted to Fuji's new model partly because of its environmental credentials.

Inkslinger studio manager Anthony Becker said: "As the Pro-T plates are truly processless, it means that we don't have chemical waste to dispose of, which saves us money as well as helping the environment.

"Since using the Brillia HD Pro-T plates we have noticed the plates are a lot sharper and are holding the lower dots better from 1-5%. We have had no problems with the colour at all."

Inkslinger Printing Company was established in 1995 and has eight staff. The company's clients include Royal Bank of Canada and the NHS.
