Continua has claimed the PageMailer 18000 is “one of the fastest post-print products in the world”. Unveiled at the International Direct Marketing Fair (IDMF) earlier this month, the machine is for medium- to high-volume jobs.

It can glue, fold, perforate and seal 18,000 mailers per hour in one pass, and handles simplex and duplex output from both digital and offset presses. The machine fully seals mailers, which Continua said makes it ideal for high-security and confidential jobs. It handles a range of print output and formats including C, Z and single folds, and has a gun configuration for maximum flexibility. The system uses plain paper in a range of standard sizes, which the firm said helps avoid the cost of pre-glued, pre-printed, and pre-perforated forms, claimed to be a cause of feeding and jamming.
