MB keeps focus on folding products for Drupa exhibition

Finishing equipment manufacturer MB has announced its line-up for Drupa.

The German company is concentrating on traditional folding products, as well as inserting and mailing systems.

MB's most anticipated new machine is the MB PrestigeFold Net 38. The folder is based on the PrestigeFold Net 52, but the manufacturer has realigned the machine to accommodate small-format folding.

According to MB, the machine comes with CIP3/CIP4-compatibility for small-format folding, fully automatic machine set-up, sturdy construction, and a high degree of adaptability.

At Drupa, MB will show different machine configurations for the format range 38x65cm.

The PrestigeFold Net 52 will be exhibited in a customised application with JDF-workflow connection.

The company will also demonstrate the CAS 21/4 Net leaflet folder, which is MB's first completely automated folder integrated in packaging systems for folding pharmaceutical inserts, alongside its CAS 35 model.
