CTP Optotec to showcase One products at Drupa
Prepress hardware and workflow developer CTP Optotec has unveiled its line-up of new products for Drupa.
The company, which manufactures the One external drum computer-to-plate system, will showcase the One Interchangeable Drum Unit (IDU), One Interchangeable Laser Head (ILH) and One Tower.
One IDU is an external drum for 2-, 4-, and 8-up applications, which allows users to start with a 2-up manual system and gradually upgrade to an 8-up.
The One ILU is an interchangeable laser head available for thermal or violet applications.
A UV version ILH, applicable for standard conventional plates, will be released during the first quarter of 2009, the company has said.
CTP Optotec's One Tower is an automatic plate-feeding tower with capacity for up to eight cassettes.
