TPF proves its print management mettle with Iron Mountain win
TPF Group has fought off stiff competition to add records management firm Iron Mountain Europe to its roll call.
The print company won the print management deal last month following a formal tender process, fending off bids from Office Depot, AccessPlus and RR Donnelley.
The contract will run for an initial term of three years and include a number of core TPF services.
This will include print and document management as well as inventory management, the majority being carried out from TPF's Brentford site.
TPF business development director Dean Smith said: "It's great to be welcoming another highly prestigious account on board at TPF, and it's all the more satisfying when we had to fight off such strong competition to win the business.
"Iron Mountain is an exceptional operation that knows exactly where it's going and what it needs to get there. We're thrilled that it has chosen TPF to help it achieve its future ambitions."
Iron Mountain Europe head of European procurement Mark Smith said: "Our decision was based on three factors: the strength of their commercial bid; the functionality of their in-house design and ordering software; as well as their proactive approach to the tender."
As previously reported on printweek.com, TPF Group is set to break through the £100m-turnover mark after taking over Allianz Insurance's in-house print facility in a £50m, six-and-a-half year outsourcing deal.

They are going great guns at the moment- I hope they have got scalability in their systems to cope.
Nice problem to have but we (having grown
turnover 53% last year) can testify, it really does show up the gaps in your processes if you're not careful. Rapid growth is not always 100% great!
