Digital Print World space selling fast

Tuesday, 16 September 2003

Three-quarters of the available floorspace for Digital Print World has been sold, according to organiser IIR Exhibitions.

Confirmed exhibitors for the show - which takes place from 25-27 November at London’s Olympia and runs alongside Pira’s Digital Print World Conference - include Apex Digital Graphics, Graphic Arts Equipment, Heidelberg, KBA and Printcafe. Xerox is understood to be close to signing up for a stand.

IIR group exhibitions director Trevor Crawford said the event would feature many interactive elements to “stimulate all the senses”.

Features planned include Inspiration Avenue, a showcase of innovative digital print applications, which is supported by PrintWeek and its sister title Marketing Direct.

The BPIF, one of the event’s key supporters along with Pira, BAPC and IoP, will hold an independent Business Advice Centre and a Digital Print Shop and Software Developers Village are also planned.

As of 15 September, 1,200 visitors had registered to attend, 45% of whom were at managing director or director level, IIR said.

The organiser aims to attract 3,500-plus visitors from the graphic arts, creative and corporate buying fields.
