New and used machines on show at Presco open house

The events will take place at the on-demand and short-run specialist's Swindon HQ on 29 and 30 July and will feature binding, creasing, laminating and encapsulation, drilling, perfect binding, booklet making and guillotines.

Matthew Painter, marketing manager at Presco, said: "This is a chance to see all the finishing equipment and other areas like the machine service contracts. We really specialise in the digital finishing industry now. We have developed a large range of digitally focused laminators and creasing machines." 

Painter predicted that the most coveted machine at the event would be the Matrix 530 single-sided laminator. It is available new for £7,500-£8,000 or leased from £48 per week. It runs at speeds of 7m per minute and can handle sizes up to SRA2.

He said: "We have had a lot of interest in this machine and have sold several since its launch. We can demo this machine at the customer and there is also a demonstration model at our showrooms in Swindon."

Other finishing names on display at the event include Duplo and Renz.
