Wyndeham Pre-Press launches digital edition eMag module
Wyndeham Pre-Press (WPP) has announced a range of enhancements to its Emagine online production system, including a digital editions module, eMag.
Southwark, London-based WPP unveiled the latest version of Emagine yesterday (30 October), which features new planning, production, post-publishing and business intelligence tools.
These included the eMag module, which allows digital editions to be created directly from eMagine. According to WPP, rich media and interactivity can be added, while the software also features customisable, detailed traffic analysis and site usage reports.
WPP technical director Darren Ayles said: Now we are extending the scope of Emagine far beyond its original pre-press remit and bringing print and digital online services within one controlled environment.
The new Visual Business Intelligence module allows any data to be output to the client in a visual format, such as a graph.
WPP also highlighted its new Ad Vouchering module, which generates a personalised email to each advertiser with a direct link to their advertisement in eMag, saving print and postage costs.
The Emagine system enables new features to be introduced and integrated seamlessly into the existing user interface, avoiding training issues for existing users, said Ayles.
Emagine now also includes an updated drag-and-drop interface.
NEW FEATURES INCLUDE
? eMag: allows digital editions to be generated from Emagine
? Flatplan Version Control: allows users to save and load different flatplan variations
? Page Version Control: displays version number of pages and spreads in production
Emagine: enhanced package includes digital editions
